Best of Times Movie Screening!

I'm back from the screening of the movie "Best of Times"!

"Best of Times" is the first romantic-comedy film by Yongyoot Thongkongtoon, the director/producer of some of my favorite Thai-horror: Alone, Coming Soon and 4BIA.

The movie is far better than what I've expected. I had goosebumps at the near end of the movie. =)

After the movie screening, I've attended the conference and it's really exciting to know someone who should have gone to the medical school ended up being a film-maker.

The film-making workshop followed after the conference was rather disappointing. From the "workshop", I got to know that the movie was shot entirely with hi-def Panasonic digital camera instead of the conventional 35mm film camera.

I didn't leave empty-handed of course, but GSC isn't that generous:

Limited to Int. Screen movies... Well, "Phua Chu Kang The Movie" perhaps.

And yes, I wish to avoid impulse shopping, but ended up buying a pants from Hush Puppies before leaving Mid Valley. Haha.
